Memorial Supetar

Loosely translated, the inscription reads:

"Here, on January 28, 1943, singing of glory and the struggle, the lives of these partisan soldiers were taken by Italian Fascists.

Their last song from the courtroom to the accusers:

"We will die

But our lives are given to our country"

It will remain the lifeblood of our generations, let the bright character and example of our fighters live in glory and eternal memory.

7/27/1952 The People of Supetar."
