Tarp Bunkermusem

"Tarp Bunkermusem" is established in a German bunker – Regelbau 622 – north of Esbjerg.
During the German occupation of Denmark, the bunker was part of Esbjerg Flyveplads (Esbjerg Airfield) which was used by the German troops.

Today, the bunker is restored to look the way it did in 1943/1944, and tells the story of the airfield and the area during World War 2. Besides the bunker, the museum contains a copy of theGerman Hauptwache from the airfield. In the "Folkerum" it is possible to buy coffee etc.
The museum offers free guided tours.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
