Belgian War Graves Machelen-aan-de-Leie

The churchyard of Machelen-aan-de-Leie contains several Belgian war graves of the Second World War. These are the graves of VAN WYMEERSCH Albert, fallen at Wevelgem on 25 May 1940; VAN DEN HEEDE Alfons, fallen at Brasschaat on 18 May 1940; ROOSE Roger, fallen at Vroenhoven on 10 May 1940 and DEN DOVEN Roger, 1940.

There are also several civilian burials of the Second World War. Near the grave of war victim DIERICK Désire are three anonymous crosses of civilian victims of the Second World War.
