Memorial Crash Avro Lancaster Mk III DV196

This memorial commemorates the two Allied airmen who were killed in the crash of Avro Lancaster Mk III DV196 on 8 August 1943. The bomber was shot down by Hauptmann Hans-Wolfgang von Niebelschütz. Two crew members were killed.
