Situated on the state road 103 that runs along the Soca valley between Volce and Ciginj, this monument was erected in 1969 as a memorial to the people of Volce, Ciginj, Kozarsce, Sela and Rute, the five villages named on the column, who were killed between 1941 and 1945.
