Javorca Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit

This church was built from March to November 1916 by Austro-Hungarian soldiers who rested here during thei days out of the Isonzo front . Inside the church are the names of 2564 Austro-Hungarian soldiers who fell. The church was not planned by government officials, it was spontaneous activity of soldiers who wanted to honor their comrades who fell.
