Crash Site Stinson Boana

This Stinson place crashed near Boana at the headwaters of the Eia river and Mount Erap on 23 October 1943, killing its pilot. The passenger survived and was rescued by an Australian rescue party. The Stinson type is unknown to date. It is suspected that it is an L-1 Vigilant, while other sources refer to an L-5.
