Memorial Stone Niccone

This tablet can be found attached a building in the small village of Niccone, close to Umbertide in Umbria, central Italy. It lists the 12 victims of a reprisal shooting. The inscription translates as:

"Slaughtered by the barbaric Nazi-fascist hordes on June 28, 1944".
