Crash Site & Remains B-17F-20-BO "The Reckless Mountain Boys" 41-24518

The heavily damaged B-17F-20-BO "The Reckless Mountain Boys" 41-24518 was ditched off Komalu on 7 May 1943. Four crew members were killed. The remaining seven were captured. Only four survived the war.

The plane was largely scrapped by the Japanese. Only few remains are left to visit.
