Stalin Line - Fort "205"

This fort was part of the Kiev Fortified Area (Kievskiy Ukrepljenyj Rajon), which was constructed from 1931 to 1936 to protect Kiev. This defence line saw heavy fighting in 1941.

Fort "205" is one of the biggest structures of the fortified sector. It includes 5 casemates which are each connected by an underground tunnel system.
