Commonwealth War Grave Gunnawarra Private Cemetery

Gunnawarra Private Cemetery contains one Commonwealth war grave from the Second World War, of WO Godfrey Douglas Dawson. Royal Australian Air Force Warrant Officer Godfrey Douglas Dawson and his wife Lillian were on their honeymoon at the property, having become friends with the owners. They drowned in a waterhole on the property when they struck difficulties and were buried together on the property.
