Japanese Invasion Beach Taivu
On 29 August 1942, the "Ichiki Regiment" landed here 917 soldiers. Of them, roughy 30 survived the following days.
Between 29 August and September 1942, a further 5200 Japanese soldiers landed at Taivu.
