Monument Synagoge Geilenkirchen

Here was the synagogue of Geilenkirchen.
During the Reichskristallnacht from 9 to 10 November 1938, it was destroyed by a number of SA people led by NSDAP Kreisleiter Konrad Volm.
After destroying the institution, they set the synagogue on fire. This completely destroyed the synagogue. A few days later, the remains were demolished.
