Freineda, house temporarily used as headquarter by Lord Wellington between end of 1812 and mid-1813. Private property.

The inscription on the side of the statue reads :
LORD WELLINGTON / Terror hostium Lusitaniæ / Arthur Wellelsey, 1° Duque de Wellington / (1769 – 1825), Marques do Douro e de / Torres Vedras, marechal general dos / exercitos de sua alteza real o principe / regente de Portugal, contribuiu com o seu / genio para a derrota napoleonica.
