Memorial Battle of the River Coa

Batalha do Côa, 24.07.1810. Arch and information board inaugurated on 24 July 2010 to commemorate the resistance opposed by the Anglo-Luso coalition to the third invasion of Portugal by the napoleonic regime, a fight symbolized by the disputed ancient bridge (then called "Ponte Grande") over Rio Côa.
