Memorial Commission for Relief in Belgium

In the University Library of Leuven is the bust of Herbert Hoover, founder of the Commission for Relief in Belgium (CRB). This organization provided food to occupied Belgium during the First World War.
In 1928, Herbert Hoover was elected president of the United States of America.
