Belgian War Grave Kwaremont

On the churchyard of Kwaremont is the grave of a Belgian military victim of the Second World War. It’s the grave of DE MEULENAERE Armand, fallen at Meigen on 25 May 1940.

The white plaque reads:
"Heroes don't die
+ 1940
To soldier A. De Meulenaere
fell for the Fatherland
N.S.B. Kwaremont"
