Rurwier Near Orsbeck
During the construction of the Westwall, weirs were also built in the Roer. This allowed flooding the upstream areas, making crossing the Rur impossible or more difficult.
The remains of this dam built in 1938/1939 are 160 meters from the bridge over the Roer near Orsbeck.
