Memorial Jewish Victims Zarasai

In a park in Zarasai there is a monument in memory of the Jewish residents of Zarasai and surroundings who were murdered by the Nazis in the woods near Krakyné on 26 August 1941. The murders of thousands of men, women and children are reported in 3 languages (Lithuanian, Hebrew and English). Another source listed 2561 as the exact number of victims.
