Atlantikwall - Bunker Regelbau 506c Pointe-de-Grave

Near the pier of Le Verdon-sur-Mer in the dunes stands a German bunker of the type Regelbau 605c from the Second World War. The bunker is provided with graffiti that reminds of Operation Frankton. The bunker cannot be visited and is damaged.

This type is formally known as a 'Schartenstand für 4.7 cm Festungspak (t)', or an Embrasure for 4.7 cm Festungspak (t)'. Model c is an extended version of the main model (a). The bunker was armed with a 4.7cm anti-tank gun.
