Memorial to Ernest Bodlet

Ernest Bodlet was a Belgian soldier from Rulles.
In the Second World War he was a messenger. He was tortured by the Gestapo to pass on information but he was brave and said nothing.
On August 27, 1944, he was brutally murdered with a shot in the neck. He was 48 years old.
