Memorial Veterans King Albert I.

This Monument hangs diagonally opposite the Saint Martin church.

This association was founded in 1948 in honor of the memory of King Albert (the King-Chevalier) and the soldiers who fought in World War I during his reign.
When the veterans disappeared, this association continued to exist. In May 1973 it became the "Royal Federation of Veterans of King Albert I" with the aim of keeping the memory of King Albert I alive and promoting national unity and patriotic feelings.
Since 2005 it has been called the "Royal Federation of Veterans and Sympathizers of King Albert I" and of course has no veterans of the 1st World War anymore ...
