During a combat attack exercise, 2 Spitfires from 61 OTU Spitfire collided in mid-air.
One plane was slightly damaged and could land.
Noizet's Spitfire crashed and he died, was barely 28 years old.
The Air Accident Investigation classified the accident as: "pilot error as a result of wrong assessment".
