At the back of the St.-Antonius-Abbot church is a memorial plaque for the First World War.

"For the blissful memento of our precious boys
killed in the Great War
1914 - 1918 "

Underneath the name of 11 fallen.

"Rest in peace, heroes great!
You have acquired us
in the arms of death's free life
did you die young but grand?
our gratitude remains
and for you immortality
R.I.P. "
