Fort Liberty Main Post Cemetery

This cemetery was established for victims of the Spanish Flu in 1918. Many war veterans are buried here. This cemetery contains five American war graves of the Second World War.

This cemetery also contains the graves of the following German prisoners of war:

August Rueter - 20 December 1945
Willy Schaeffer - 20 June 1945
Wilhelm Blum - 23 September 1944
Wilhelm Burghardt - 26 October 1944
Rudop Sieben - 29 January 1945
