Commonwealth War Graves Dunster New Cemetery

Dunster New Cemetery contains two Commonwealth war graves from World War II, these are:

- Private Gordon Creech, killed in action 31 August 1943.
- Corporal Gordon Henry Bryant, killed in action on May 12, 1944.

Corporal Bryant served with C Company, 15th/19th Battalion, The King's Royal Hussars. According to that unit's War Diary, he died blowing up a number of mines that were being cleared on the coast near Dunstanburgh. The War Diary further states that an investigation showed that no one was to blame for the accident. He was buried in this cemetery 5 days later, on May 17.
