Info board 75 Years Liberation WWII Geel Ten Aard

In 2019 it was 75 years ago that Belgium was Liberated by the Allied forces.
In this context, Tourism Province of Antwerp organized various activities related to the Liberation in collaboration with Liberation Route Europe. Together with the participating cities and municipalities, a themed brochure with local stories supplemented with photos was made. Information boards were placed at 48 historical locations, each with a local theme.

Theme Yellow Ten Nature: The Hell of Ten Nature

In September, the Battle of Geel Ten Aard takes place here around the bridgehead of the Bocholt Herentals canal. The Center of Ten Aard is being destroyed and there are heavy losses on both sides.
