War Memorial Cemetery Aywaille

War memorial at the cemetery in Aywaille to commemorate the military and the civilian victims of the First and the Second World War.

Commemorated are;

BEAUFAYS Alphonse, age 25, from Aywaille, soldier with the 9th Line Regiment, killed on September 29, 1918 as a result of shrapnel.

BEAUFAYS Luciën, age 34, soldier with the Troupes Auxiliaires du Génie (T.A.G.), died of probably Spanish flu in the Institute of Our Lady of Saint-Michel on November 6, 1918. 5 days before the end of the war !
