Monument of the Resistance

The "Monument of the Resistance", inaugurated in 1990, is a sculpture by Noel Bonardi.
An inscription is engraved on the memorial plaque below the sculpture:
"Tribute to the resistance
1940-1945.
To those who gave their lives
for a free and French Corsica ".

Every year on May 27 there is a ceremony at this monument intended to pay tribute to those who resisted the Nazi occupiers during the Second World War.
