South Valley Regional Airport (Camp Kearns)

Kearns Army Air Base was built between May and August 1942. The complex was named "Camp Kearns" on January 1, 1944. On 15 August 1946, the Air Force deactivated the base and turned the facility over to the State of Utah. The airfield part of Kearns Army Air Base today is known as South Valley Regional Airport.
