Crash Site B-29 50-BW Superfortress 42-24849 "Mission to Albuquerque"

B-29 50-BW Superfortress 42-24849 "Mission to Albuquerque" crashed into Futatabisan Mountain on March 17, 1945 after being rammed by a Ki-61 Tony fighter plane. Nine crew members were killed immediately. The two crew members who survived the crash were later executed by the Japanese.
