German Bunker Hollerath
At the Hollerather Knie there are anti-tank barriers that are part of the Westwall. Around it there are numerous blown up and aboveground bunkers. Field setups and an anti-tank ditch in the forest bear witness to the war events in the autumn and winter 1944/45.
Most of the larger bunkers lie under raised hills and have mostly been destroyed. The concrete construction is barely visible and several are fenced. The land around the bunkers of this entry is in use by farmers and loggers. The smaller bunkers are still clearly visible, despite destruction.
