Belgian War Graves Oudergem

The cemetery in Oudergem contains the graves of military victims of the Second World War. These are the graves of BEKAERT François, Auberville (F) 21 August 1944; PAS Charles, Heverlee 10 May 1940; CHRISTIAENS René, Zevenkerke 13 June 1940; SIMONS Henri, Tielt 27 May 1940; VAN DROMME Lucien, Kanne 10 May 1940; TIMMERMANS Gustave, ’s Heerenelderen 11 May 1940; VAN ASBROECK Léopold, Watervliet 20 May 1940.

There are also the graves of civilian victims of the Second World War. This mainly concerns resistance fighters and political prisoners who were executed by the Germans or died in captivity in Germany.
