Belgian War Graves Wellin

The cemetery in Wellin contains several Belgian war graves from the first and second world war.

To the left and right of the entrance are 2 equal grave monuments, i.e. pedestal with column on it.

at the age of 26"

died for the fatherland
on April 26, 1916
at the age of 22 years"

There is also a grave of a soldier of the Second World War:
" 3rd reg. Ardennes Hunters
Gaston THERASSE
Killed in Ordered Service
in Comblain-au-Pont
on May 12, 1940, at the age of 21"

At the cemetery in Wellin is the grave of a gunman of the Second World War.
It's about Dominique Weibel. He was shot on suspicion of espionage.
