At the cemetery on the Eicholzstrasse in Arnsberg is a monument to the war victims of the 126. Infantry Division. This 126. Infanterie-Division was a German division in World War II, founded on 15 October 1940 in Münster.
The division was deployed to the Eastern Front and ended the war in the Kurland pocket.
