Bomb Crater WW II Doorn

On November 26, 1944, the Allies dropped bombs on Doorn. In the Ludenbos there were shelters for German army vehicles and they wanted to hit them. On an aerial photo of the Royal Air Force of January 22, 1945, the impacts of that time can be seen. The position of this deep pit corresponds to one of those impacts.
