Italian Coastal Artillery defenses Monte Smith

Italian Coastal artillery defense with bunkers on Monte Smith.
During the Second World War the Italian army built a coastal artillery defense with 3 pieces of 152/40 mm and 1 piece of 120/50 mm. This was called Majorona.
During the battle of Rhodes this was attacked on the 11th of September in the morning by German planes.
This location is close to the Acropolis of Rhodes.
