Federal Military Memorial Cemetery

Opened on June 21, 2013, this memorial complex is intended as a final resting place for Russian federal dignitaries and national heroes (both Heroes of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation). On June 21, 2013, the inaugural burial took place when the remains of an unknown Red Army soldier who died in Smolensk Oblast during World War II.

In addition to the graves, there are also cenotaphs for fallen Heroes of the Soviet Union, including Izrail Fisanovich.
