Tuskegee Airmen of Oberlin Monument

A memorial plaque installed on a large rock honors Tuskegee Airmen of Oberlin. The monument was dedicated on 19 June 2017 in Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The metal plaque includes an airman in flight gear, the Tuskegee emblem, and the symbol of the red-tailed aircraft flown by Black pilots. The raised lettering on the plaque reads:
