Crash Site Stirling BK760 MG-X Tongerlo

The Stirling from the airbase Oatkington England was shot down on 11.4.1943 at 03:45h. by Gruppenkommandeur Walter Ehle of the German airbase at Brustem. Walter Ehle died on 11.11.1943 in an emergency landing in Horpmaal.
The Stirling was returning from a bombing mission over Frankfurt (Germany). Two crew members were able to escape, the rest was killed: Leader Pilot Chesterman, Sgt Tolston, Sgt Moore, Sgt Bugg and Sgt Ellis.
