Douglas A-1H Skyraider US Navy Dong Loc Junction

The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was a support fighter for the US Navy and could operate from a flight deck as well as from a runway on land.
The A-1 series was used with great success during the Vietnam War. It was used to provide air support, performed escort duties and also operated in search and rescue.

The South Vietnamese nicknamed it Crazy Water Buffalo.
