Peace Tree Stekene
A Peace Tree was planted at the cemetery of Stekene in 2018, an initiative of the Flemish Government in the context of 2014-18 – 100 years of the Great War.
"This tree of peace was planted in 2018 to commemorate the end of the First World War on November 11, 1918.
Let's never forget yesterday's victims. And let's work together more than ever for peace, freedom and human rights today and tomorrow."
