Memorial Valguarnera
On the City Hall of Valguarnera is a plaque commemorating the liberation of the town by the 1st Canadian Infantry Division. Unfortunately the plaque is damaged, but it was on this spot that the Canadian commanders spoke to the local people on the 18th of July 1943.
