War Cemetery Wermelskirchen

Part of the general cemetery on Berliner Strasse in Wermelskirchen is used as a war cemetery. On this part is a large wooden cross. Around the cross are the graves of local soldiers who died in the First World War or later as a result of war wounds. At the head of this part of the cemetery are graves of local soldiers and of a number of soldiers who died at the end of the Second World War in the vicinity of Wermelskirchen.
