Memorial Victims Pioneers Battalions 11 and 126 At the cemetery in Hückeswagen a monument has been erected in memory of the victims of the pioneer battalions 11 and 126 from the Second World War.

The text on the monument is as follows:

Unseren Gefallenen Comrades
vom Pi. batl. 11 ü 126
will remember
1939 - 1945

Noteworthy is a separate memorial stone at the foot of this monument to Hermann Stuckmann.
He was Oberleutnant zur See and Ritterkreuztrager.
He died on 18-8-1944 as commander of U 621 with his entire crew in the Bay of Biscay.
