Inscription Royal Irish Fusiliers Bonningues-les-Ardres
The inscription of the Royal Irish Fusiliers is on one of the walls of the church of Bonningues-les-Ardres. The regiment landed in Boulogne-Sur-Mer at the beginning of august 1914 and passed across the village of Bonningues-Les-Ardres. Then, the regiment goes to the difficult battle of Le Cateau Cambrésis. The battle was on 26th August 1914.
