RAF Training Base Llandow

On this former airfield at Llandow No. 38 Maintenance Unit RAF was stationed. They had the task to receive, store and despatch RAF aircraft. They started here on 1 April 1940 and stopped in 1957.
During wartime other RAF units were based at Llandow;
No. 53 Operational Training Unit RAF B Flight (Supermarine Spitfires)
No. 1312 Flight RAF (Avro Anson I's)

At the airfield a monument was erected for all the former personal that worked on this airfield.
