Belgian War Grave Ave-et-Auffe

The cemetery of Ave-et-Auffe contains the grave of Albert MONTREUIL, who fell in the Second World War.

He was born in Ave-et-Auffe on April 26, 1913.
During the Second World War he was a soldier with the 19th Line.
On 26 May 1940 he was hit during fighting in Oesegem, a village on the Leie.
He later died in hospital from his previous injuries.
