German Cemetery First World War Ukmergé

In Ukmergé on the general cemetery Vaižganto kapinės, in addition to the "ordinary citizens", there is also a section with graves of German soldiers who fell in the area in August and September 1915. In total there are about 200 of the well-known concrete crosses here. , many with a name, but also a number including an unknown fallen rest. Behind the rows of graves is a small monument with the inscription 1915 Den Toten zu Ehren.

If you enter the cemetery through the back entrance at the A. Baranausko gatvé, you are directly at the war graves.
