War Memorial Stommeln

This monument was opened in May 1922. The victims of the First World War from Stommeln are commemorated here.
Masses were also read at this monument in remembrance and school classes visited the monument on All Saints' Day.
From 1933 the monument was also used for the advances of the SA and the monument was protected by soldiers.
From 1953, the victims of the Second World War are also commemorated and in 2012 there is also a plaque with the names of the Jewish victims.
